Let me start by saying, I’d like to thank the Academy! Okay okay, I promise no more corny jokes, but this one had me laughing all weekend long! Dolls, I am feeling so energized after an amazing weekend spent in Nashville! Any time that I get to spend with our clients is special and I valued every moment I shared with Terra Harvell and the Harper Ellis Hair Co. team while we were in Nashville.
From the moment we stepped foot into Dream Nashville, we hit the ground running! I loved being able to interact with the Harper Ellis Hair Co. team as well as the attendees who were staying at the same hotel. The intimate nature of this Academy made it ideal for connecting with people on a more personal level! Personal connections are what makes our world go round!
Being able to share more about being the face of your brand is something that means so much to me. It was a true joy to be able to interact with an audience who was truly engaged and interested in growing their personal brands. Educating fellow Boss Dolls™ brings me more joy than I could ever put into words. The insightful questions and true desire for growth was evident in the crowd.

My favorite part of the Academy weekend, minus the early birthday shopping trip I made to the Louis Vuitton store of course, was being able to sit on the panel. I was so impressed by the questions that the attendees asked and loved being able to go more in depth on what their personal brands could look like. It was an honor to share the stage with Casey Hicks, Terra Harvell, and Amanda Craig. This comprehensive panel was able to speak on so many things: owning your own business, marketing and advertising, overcoming adversity, and so much more! I loved meeting Amanda Craig who is a sought-after celebrity stylist in Nashville. She is so kind and shared so much insight on how to pivot yourself no matter what industry you are in. Such an inspiration!
