We Are ALL Barbie

It is no secret that I am a Barbie girl.  She is one my earliest sources of inspiration that I can recall!  From her gorgeous blonde hair to her sparkling blue eyes, there’s no denying Barbie’s beauty.  But we all know she is SO much more than just a pretty face.  Barbie is the role model we all need.  She has chased more career goals than any Doll out there that I know!  What more inspiration to go for your dream job could you need?!

But like all Boss Dolls™, Barbie has faced some criticism over the years for the way she looks.  I have been so excited over the expanded line of Barbies that was recently unveiled!  The Barbie Fashionistas line now includes 176 dolls with 8 body types, 35 skin tones, and 94 hairstyles!  I love that Mattel created this line as a reminder that being a Barbie means that you are the boss of your life and being a boss doesn’t mean you look any one way.  Whether it’s through the way you dress or the professional goals you pursue, YOU are in charge of where your life goes!

Barbie will always be my role model and, as you know, it’s for so much more than just her beauty.  She is a business-minded woman who isn’t afraid to be the boss of her life.  Barbie wanted to be a teacher — she did it!  Then she wanted to be a doctor — she did it!  What about a CEO?!  You guessed it — she did that, too!  I love the inspiration that she can bring to young girls looking to dream their biggest dreams.  No matter what you look like, no matter how you dress, no matter what career field you want to pursue, channel your inner Boss Doll™ Barbie and remember that you CAN and you WILL!
