The Best Red, White, And Blue Beauty Finds To Use This Holiday Weekend
Why hello Dolls, lovely seeing you all here! Today, I’m spending my day gearing up for a jam packed weekend at the lake with my sweet husband, all of our puppy babies, and some wonderful company. I’m so excited to use this weekend as time to get some much needed R&R. I find it so much easier to force myself to relax when I’m not at home — or in close proximity to my desktop that is.
While I’m away, I like to make sure I have all the necessities needed to protect my hair and skin so I don’t have to worry about it while I’m in bustle of it all. Since I’’ll be spending the weekend under the sun, day in and day out, I will reach for things that are hydrating and moisturizing. For my skin in particular, all the products I use during the day will have SPF in it. I’ve been told by my dermatologist — and basically every Internet beauty guru — that I need to be wearing SPF every day, and so should you Dolls! It’s so simple to put on SPF daily with products like Coola and Kosasport. They smell heavenly and leave my skin feeling clean and hydrated. I like to create a little lip statement, so I add Yves Saint Laurent lipstick for a pop!
My blonde locks are always at the forefront of my brain when I’m lounging in the water while getting a sun-kissed glow. When jumping from lake to pool, I noticed that the water texture wears on my hair after a long weekend. So I like to throw on a quick deep conditioning mask while in the shower to give my hair a little extra oomph! To keep my blonde locks looking healthy and strong, I make sure to mist my hair with leave-in spray while detangling it to make sure it doesn’t break.
