No Tricks — Just Treats!
Okay, Dolls…I have to be honest! Halloween is just not my favorite holiday. It’s just never really been my thing! What can I say, visiting haunted houses, watching scary movies, and going to the pumpkin patch are not amongst my favorite fall activities. Now sipping Champagne by the fire on a cool fall day? Definitely more my style this season! Champagne Is Always The Answer® no matter the season! Halloween is admittedly not my favorite day of the year, but I do love that it’s a day with the perfect excuse for doing one of my favorite things — indulging in sweet treats! Any other Dolls out there with a major sweet tooth like me?! Pass the pink Starbursts my way! Desserts truly just make me smile. Yes, of course, they taste good, but I love how beautiful they can be. From custom cookies and decadent cupcakes to chocolate strawberries and heart-shaped rice krispie treats, I love having pretty treats on hand in The Doll HQ for our clients and for styling purposes. They are the perfect prop for a branding photoshoot, too! Delicious and useful for branding?! Now that’s something I can get on board with!
Dolls, I have to admit, being gluten-free can sometimes make indulging in your favorite desserts and candy difficult. Having hypothyroidism and an allergy to gluten, this is something I’ve long been faced with, but I don’t let it stop my fun! Thankfully more and more diet-conscious options have become available on the market and I just can’t resist! In fact, I love to decorate gluten-free cookies with Costa in The Doll Dream House, especially when pretty pink sprinkles are involved. Any Dolls out there that love to bake, too? I’d love to hear your favorite recipes, especially if they’re gluten-free!
Now Halloween may not be for me, but I know it is a day full of joy and I can definitely get behind that! Although I may be passing on dressing in costume, you can pass the candy bowl and sweet treats my way!
