DC Bloggers Union Recap

As you all know, public speaking is repeatedly described as one of the worlds most common and greatest fears. For most, even the thought of standing in front of a crowd instantly causes their palms to sweat and their heart to race. I on the other hand, have never been one of these people. Oddly enough, I actually enjoy speaking in front of a crowd! There is just something about delivering a memorable and educating speech that is so empowering to me.  I just get a certain rush when I’m out in front of a crowd that’s truly invigorating!  I really do love being able to connect with an audience and really guide them in my experiences.  It just gives me goosebumps even thinking about it! All that being said, this past week I had the incredible opportunity to get to speak at the DC Bloggers Union! 

To recap, I gave my Money Talk, which in short, is where I break down how I reached my financial goals and started living the life I had always dreamed of! Sounds simple right!? Well what if I told you everything that stood between you and your goals were just 10 simple steps!? You’d say I’m crazy! But, the truth is, it isn’t as hard as we make it out to be and the second you decide you are worth more money is the second you start making more money! 

I really had the most amazing time last week. I love being able to connect with so many likeminded people all under one roof! In fact I liked it so much I stayed until they were literally locking up the venue I spoke at!
