Doll Dreamhouse Update!

If you watch HGTV, you know that house projects *never* go as planned. I always thought that building a house in real life would be even worse than it seems on TV…but I am so happy to report that everything is going well on #TheDollDreamhouse! Knock on wood?

Costa and I have been visiting the site regularly and dolls, there are WALLS up! It’s so exciting to see our future home and office space starting to take shape. Yes, there is a lot of dirt and the concrete isn’t the prettiest, but it was actually so moving to stand in these spaces and imagine clients and dolls collaborating and celebrating within!

While I can’t put up decorations yet, I am dreaming more and more of how to make this office one of the most Instagrammable spots in Richmond! I am so excited for one wall in particular which will be a FLOWER WALL! We had one at our wedding and I just can’t wait to bring this to life for the office. I think it will just add such a romantic and fun factor…who can say they work somewhere like this?!

I am also daydreaming about neon signs, blown up posters of Barbie, and a pink coffee bar…too much?

Absolutely not! Like I always say: don’t be afraid to be yourself! And especially don’t be afraid to give yourself what you have always dreamed of.

Weather permitting, the project will complete at the end of summer! I am honestly doing my best to just stay in the moment and focus on doing our best at the current office without getting swept away by my dreams for the future—it will be here before we know it and we will have our pink doors open to the public!

Our door is going to look similar to this but instead of a singular door they will be double doors!
