Lifestyle & Fashion Guide No. 11: Emerald Events By Nilsa

Remember my TV segment, The Lifestyle & Fashion Guide? As a media-trained professional, I absolutely love providing this service to clients! My favorite part? Their faces when they see the set! My dolls and I custom-style each TV set to perfectly highlight each guest’s brand. I literally cannot wait until we have our own studio (complete with dressing room area!) in #TheDollDreamhouse!

I can’t think of anyone I’d rather share my first segment of 2019 with than my sweet friend and client, Nilsa of Emerald Events. Nilsa is a go-getter from New York that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting for several #DollDates. She calls her clients “Gems,” which I LOVE, and you can watch her segment here!

Nilsa is a Starbucks lover (just like me!) and you can almost always find her wearing her signature pink and green. She used to be a cosmetologist until a friend asked her to plan their wedding and something clicked. Nilsa told us that wedding planning is the perfect combination of her two greatest strengths and passions: making things look pretty and being organized! She loves the role of helping and supporting a bride on her wedding day, and serves clients in New York, here in Virginia, and beyond.

Although Nilsa offers three different planning packages for full service, partial service, and month-of event management, she will customize her services to suit each bride. She can be there for all of your vendor coordination, timeline and budget management, and even design needs! She will be your Wedding BFF!

In our interview, Nilsa showed us one of the many things she can help provide for her brides: a “propose to your bridesmaid” box! It included champagne and a pretty straw, a peony candle, champagne bears, and custom stationary. This is one of those little details that makes a wedding planner invaluable. Like I always say, the difference between moderate and luxury is in the details!
