Stars, Stripes + Glitter | What Being A Female CEO In America Means To Me | Boutique PR Agency

Caroline Kalentzos, CEO of a boutique fashion, beauty, and lifestyle PR agency, shares what being an American means to her!

Happy Fourth Of July, dolls!

This time last year we celebrated this holiday from Greece on our honeymoon! When Constantine and I were planning our trip, I was persistent that our Santorini honeymoon needed to be extended through the 5th of July.  Fast forward to the evening of the 4th and I was confused on where we would watch fireworks! I mean, how amazing would a fireworks production be overlooking the Mediterranean Sea?! While that may have been a blonde moment, it proves that no matter where you are in the world, being proud to be an American is an honor.

Independence: the state or quality of being free from outside control; not depending on another’s authority.

Our motto at POSH PR® — besides Champagne Is Always The Answer®! — is helping her live the life she’s always dreamed of. We believe that you truly have the power to design the life you want.  A life that fills you up. A life you are proud to live.

When I left my medical sales career as a National Sales Manager in 2013 to start POSH PR® I was afraid. It was scary because when you work for a company, you are dependent on that company to provide for you.

Many of you have left your full time job to pursue your entrepreneurial dream.

Some of you are currently working a full time job AND pursuing your side hustle.

Others have big dreams they are too afraid to chase.

I see you, girl! I was there, too.

If you want something in life, you need to go get it. Start today. I am so glad I started 5 years ago…

Why I’m Thankful For Being an American Female CEO

In some countries, women can not own businesses. They could never pursue their dreams the way I have pursued mine. For that, I am thankful that as a female CEO I am seen as an equal to another business that has a male CEO. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be a woman and own a fashion, beauty and lifestyle PR agency.

My beautiful dolls who work so hard for POSH PR® — I am only as good as my team. My team can only serve our clients well as a unit. Yes, independence means being free — I am so thankful for the opportunity to set them free from their former 9-5 jobs, that were just jobs to them, nothing more. I am thankful for the opportunity to strive every single day so they too can live the life they’ve always dreamed of. To give them a home where they can thrive.

All female CEO’s are setting an example for girls all over the nation, whether you realize it or not. I am so proud to be able to encourage and inspire girls and show them that with a little hard work and perseverance, they too can live their dream life.

Our motto? Champagne Is Always The Answer®. Our brand icons? The color pink, tulle skirts, champagne, confetti. Being able to build a pretty brand that promotes other pretty brands is the core of what we do. Whoever told me that a pretty, girly brand could not be successful was wrong. Today I am thankful for living in a country that celebrates independence — because being free to create and dream and live and do, that’s what being an American is all about!

Sending you all so much love today! XoC
