Instagram Trade Secrets

As promised, here are my Instagram TRADE SECRETS! Dolls, this is some quality insider content. Yes, #Dollspartypretty! But you know, sometimes prettiness needs a little extra push.

So what are my tips and tricks to capturing the luxury lifestyle with ease?

Getting the shot just right the first time is easier than fixing it in post!

Lighting is everything.

Let’s be honest. Not every day has that perfectly filtered light. Not every room even has the windows to capture it! If you don’t happen to be conducting a photoshoot in that one-hour window where the light hits the room just right and makes everything glow, invest in studio lights! Seriously, they are a lifesaver—and not too expensive on Amazon, either!

With all the apps available, you don’t even need a fancy camera!

Editing is second-best.

Maybe you were in the moment and didn’t have time to review your camera settings. Maybe you took a super cute photo, but it doesn’t quite fit the vibe of your Instagram. Never fear: there are tons of apps that make it easy to adjust that white balance and get the crop you were going for! My faves are Pic Tap Go and Aviary

Diet Coke, mini balloon, fake flowers, frozen dessert. Yep, it’s all there!

Do what you need to do.

You might have seen my confession over on Instagram…I can’t blow a bubble! But you know what I can do? Blow up a little pink ballon. Need a cozy post, but don’t have coffee on hand? Pour some Diet Coke into that mug, girl! Faux flowers look just as good as real (and you can use them over and over!) and frozen desserts last a little longer under those studio lights than fresh ones.

There you have it! My top tips for photos in a pinch. But hey, we are always happy to help with professional photoshoots and social media strategy!
